International Business Concentration

The International Business Concentration requires 12 credit hours total in internationally oriented courses structured as follows:

6 credit hours

  • 3 hours within the functional area of study
  • 3 hours from another functional area within the College

*if your area of study does not have an international course, 2 courses may be taken from other functional areas of study

International Business Courses:

  • ACCT 426: International, Governmental, and Advanced Accounting Topics
  • BLAW 415: International Business Law
  • ECON 415: International Economics
  • FNAN 412: International Finance
  • HRTM 405: International Tourism
  • MKTG 470: International Marketing
  • MGMT 425: Multinational Management

6 credit hours in foreign language or study abroad or international internship in any of the following combinations:

  • 6 hours of study abroad courses
  • 3 hours of an international internship and 3 hours of foreign language at the 200 level or above
    • If you take an international business internship, you may use your business internship elective; if you take foreign language, you may  use your business or non-business electives
       
  • 6 hours of foreign language at the 200 level or above
    • You may use your business or non-business electives
