What can I do with a major in management?

Managers are the cornerstones of all organizations. On a day-to-day basis, managers ensure that the tasks are completed and goals are met. On a broader basis, they make the key decisions that keep organizations running and competitive. Managers not only have influence on the organizations for which they work, but ultimately influence our quality of life. Few other jobs allow a person to have as great an impact on other people.

The manager’s job is truly challenging. Very few, however, are born with the abilities necessary to perform a manager’s job. Instead, the skills needed by managers are acquired through education and experience.
