Programs

We work to teach you how to develop strategies, procedures, and policies that govern businesses for both the short- and long-term. Those all involve coordinating resources — like materials, personnel, and finances — so the business can thrive.

As an undergraduate in the Department of Management, you will learn the best practices that form the foundation of successful businesses and organizations. Our classes are limited in size, so you can benefit from the coursework and a personal interaction with the faculty. There are several student organizations and honor societies that you can join, and we regularly host business leaders for presentations and meetings so you can make contacts and network with future employers.

Management

Learn the best practices that form the foundation of successful businesses and organizations.

You can earn your Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Management on campus or 100% online.

As a management major, you can explore entrepreneurship and launch your own business through the Moody College of Business's AcceleRagin' program, or start climbing the corporate ladder with one of the many international and national companies based here in Lafayette.

Hospitality Management

Our hospitality management students earn hands-on experience working internships, part-time jobs, job shadowing, and hands-on learning labs. There are food service labs on campus, which we use for a weekly full-service dining restaurant. Our students work closely with organizations learning from the employees and managers through their coursework and internships. Finally, all students complete an independent internship in their last semester to bring together their academic knowledge and skill set.

Professional Land & Resource Management

We also offer a major in professional land and resource management, and have developed the curriculum so you can learn the ins and outs of management, finance, conservation, geology, and legal studies.
