Computer Facilities

Students in the Department are encouraged to take advantage of the College of Business Administration’s computer facilities which include over 100 personal computers and management related software. Although information processing is an important aspect of management training, computers are viewed as management aids and not as an alternative to the art of human decision-making.

The College of Business Administration is also home to four computer labs, more than 50 personal computers, and business-related software.

The Edith Garland Dupre Library houses more than 860,000 volumes and 5,800 current periodicals. All library holdings are accessible through the LIBIS Computerized card catalog, within the library or from office or home terminals. Dupre also has several special collections and a wide range of audiovisual materials and equipment which can be used both in and out of the classroom.
